How to Backup Your iPhone with Chronus

Now days, it has become very important to backup every data present either on a computer, inside a file, or in any other device. Safety of data is of utmost importance and if you fail to do so, you might end up with nothing. There are numerous software's available in the market that will help you backup your computer's data but none for the iPhone. However, apptism has taken one step ahead in this field and launched an application called Chrnous that helps you backup your iPhone.

With Chronus you can backup call history, contacts, photos, maps, SMS, notes, voicemail, calendar, weather and bookmarks stored in YouTube and Safari. Below are the step by step instructions on how to backup your iPhone data using Chronus.

Step 1: As a first step, you need to install the Chronus application on your iPhone. On iPhone springboard, tap Cydia icon. When the Cydia application opens up, tap the Sections icon present in the bottom.

Step 2: From the list of categories, find and choose "Utilities" category. Under the Utilities category, you will find a number of packages. From the list of packages, browse for Chronus and tap on the Chronus application when found.

Step 3: To install the application, press the Install button present on top right corner. After you press the install button, you will notice a Confirm button in the same place. Press Confirm button to continue with the process of downloading and installing the application. Press "Return to Cydia" button once the installation is complete.

Step 4: Now, return to the iPhone springboard by pressing the Home button. Press the Chronus icon to launch the application. When the application launches, you will be presented with a list of items that can be backed up. Choose any item that you wish to backup and press the backup button on the top right corner.

A restore point will be created. You can always view what's in a restore by clicking on the arrow in front of the restore point and it will display the list of files backed up.

Step 5: To view the functions application with a restore point, tap directly on the restore point. A popup menu will appear with options Restore, Email, Delete and Cancel.

Clicking the Restore option will restore the backed up data to its original state.

Clicking the Email button will allow you to email the backed up data to any email address you want.

Clicking the Delete button will delete the selected restore point.

Clicking Cancel will remove the popup menu options.
