Most of us know someone who smokes. You may or may not smoke but if you hang out width someone who regularly smokes it's not healthy to breathe in tobacco smoke. Short term expose and even occasional can have a negative effect on your body overtime. If you smoke try to quit. It won't be easy because it is very addictive.
There are plenty of programs designed to help you quit smoking. Leaving the smoking world behind can have many benefits like smelling better, looking better, and feeling better. You will more money to spend on other things like entertainment and healthier meals.
For people who don't smoke, ask your friends and family who do to honor these two things. Ask them to please take their smoke breaks outside so that they are away from other people. They shouldn't be around children and especially people who are pregnant. They should also never smoke in a car with other people. Just because they lean out the window does stop the inhaling of smoke by others in the car.
It has definitely been proven that cigarette secondhand smoke is dangerous. Maybe your friends and family will be willing to obide by these simple rules. You have a right to not be around secondhand smoke and be respected for that right.
Nicotine is bad for you. It is both a stimulant and a depressant. It increases your heart rate and make you feel more alert. After that it make you feel depressed and fatigued. If you want to quit or help someone else quit smoking, put in writing. Sometimes people who want to change something in their lives are more successful at it if they put in writing. Here is your chance to write down all the reasons why you should quit smoking. Be sure to keep this list close by so that you can look upon it often. Find a support group to comfort you as you make that journey of freedom this unhealthy habit.
