Let baking be a tradition, a warm kitchen can bring happiness to everyone involved.

I have created a delicious recipe for home baked chocolate white chip cookies that is so easy anyone can bake them.

Required Hardware:

1 Lg mixing bowl

1 Med mixing bowl

1 Electric mixer

1 Hvy Wooden spoon

1 Measuring cup

1 Baking sheet

1 Whisk

1 Tbs

1 Spatula

1 Wire rack

Ingredients:

4 1/2 cup flour

1 1/3 cup powdered cocoa

2 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

4 sticks butter soft

1 1/2 cup white sugar

1 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed

2 tsp pure vanilla extract

4 large eggs

4 cups white chips

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350º (for BBQ use indirect heat)

Begin using the medium bowl. Mix flour, baking soda and salt with a whisk to combine only the dry ingredients in this bowl.

Then in the large bowl, beat softened butter, white sugar, brown sugar and pure vanilla extract with the mixer until ingredients are mixed and creamy. Scrape the sides of the bowl with the spatula during this process as needed.

Gradually add eggs one at a time and mix after each additional egg and blended well.

Gradually add the dry flour mixture just about a cup at a time, until all dry ingredients are combined.

Add the white chips to the mixture and using the wooden spoon, stir the white chips into cookie dough until all the chips are combined.

Only bake dough when the oven has been preheated to 350º.

Using the tbs drop dough from spoon onto the cookie sheet. *Don't grease the cookie sheet.

Bake for about 11-15 minutes smaller cookies will have a less cook time.

Cookies should be almost set around the edges (stiff not crisp) when you remove them from the oven.

Cool baked cookies on the sheet for at least 1 minute. Cookies need time to set without breaking when you transfer to a wire rack to cool.

Remove cookies using a heat resistant spatula, a metal spatula can scratch your baking sheet, if the dark coating of a non-stick baking sheet gets scratched it isn't a good thing to accidently eat. Place cookies on the wire rack and completely cool.

Wipe off any remaining baked on cookie dough from backing sheet with a paper towel.

Continue the previous directions until all your cookies are baked.

*Safety Tips:

Never leave oven unattended.

Never leave children unattended around a stove or electrical equipment.

*Recycling Tip:

Recycle old cookie tins; use them for your cookies.

Now that you know how to bake chocolate white chip cookies make a batch for yourself.
