How to Bake a Delicious Meatloaf

Dee Davis
Meatloaf is a popular dish in my household. Although my meatloaf is not the best I have tasted, my toddlers still love it nonetheless. At the end of the day, it's the same basic idea. I hope you enjoy this recipe.

Things You'll Need:

• can tomato sauce

• 1/2 cup water

• 1 clove garlic

• 1 small onion

• 1 tsp salt

• 1 tsp seasoning salt

• 1 pound ground meat (chicken, turkey, beef; your favorite)

• 1 cup fresh bread crumbs

• 1 large egg beaten

• 2 tbsp olive oil

• 1 tbsp lemonade

• 1/4 cup honey

• 1/4 tsp worcheshire sauce

• 1 tbsp granulated sugar

• Wooden spoon

• baking pan, corning ware or loaf pan

• saucepan

In a small bowl, combine tomato sauce, water, worcheshire sauce, honey, sugar and 1 tablespoon olive oil, then stir. Pour into a small saucepan and let simmer over medium-low heat. Season to taste. Then set aside after 10 to 15 minutes.

In a medium bowl combine ground meat (your choice), bread crumbs, beaten egg, finely chopped onion, salt, seasoning salt minced garlic and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Then mix well.

Preheat oven to 350 for approximately 5 minutes.

Shape the meat mixture into a loaf. Then place into ungreased baking pan, loaf pan or 3 quart corning ware. Then pour half the tomato sauce mixture over meatloaf. Then bake meatloaf for 40 minutes and add water as needed.

After 40 minutes remove from over and pour remainder of tomato sauce mixture over meatloaf and bake an additional 10 minutes.

Then remove from oven and let it cool for approximately 10 minutes. Then serve. Bonne appetite!
