You'll Need:
2-pound thawed Turkey Ham
1-1/2 quart Baking Dish with a lid
Water
Note: If you forget to thaw the turkey ham like I did today, just remove the plastic wrap. Put the ham on a plate and thaw it in your microwave quick. A 2-pound turkey ham takes 8 minutes to defrost in my microwave.
Directions:
Step 1-
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2-
Remove the plastic wrap from the turkey ham.
Step 3-
Place the ham in the baking dish. Add a half-inch of water to the dish and cover it with the lid.
Step 4-
To Heat the Turkey Ham Up-
Place the ham in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes (15 to 20 minutes per pound) if you just want to bake it so it's heated clear through. The turkey ham will still be pinkish in color. And it will still be very firm. You can slice the turkey ham, but it takes a little effort. You can cut it with a fork if you bear down on it a bit. Even though it's cooked and heated up, we like our turkey ham baked longer.
To Bake the Turkey Ham So It's Browned and Tender-
Before you put a lid on it and place it in the oven, you can score the top with a knife if you choose, but I don't. As you can see by my photo, the top of the turkey ham will split on its own.
I bake a two-pound turkey ham in the oven for 1-1/2 hours. You can adjust the time to your own preference. The outside of the ham is lightly browned. Inside, the turkey is tender and moist (see photo). You can easily slice the turkey ham and cut through it with a fork. This is the way my family and I like baked turkey ham.

Thanks, will try this for Thanksgiving.
Btw, turkey ham and ham are 2 different things for those who thought this was pork. :)
Sounds great!
I guess I'll be crock potting mine. We're having a heatwave here in So. California! :o) No weather is too hot for a good serving of turkey ham, though. Thanks for the recipe, Kassidy. :oD

Good work as always !
Good to know but I'm one of those weirdos who likes to keep their turkey and ham separate.
