How to Make a Banner at the Top of Your Myspace Profile

Stephanie
With Myspace taking over like it has, and all the hard work we put into our profiles to make them unique, its hard to think of reasons why someone wouldn't want something different for their page, something not like anyone else.

With all the coding out there its hard to choose what would suit your profile, and sort through the ones that haven't been used over and over. This code is truly unique! It allows you to add a banner at the top of your profile! Sound generic? It would be, if it wasnt right underneath the navigation bar! Follow these steps!

---First and foremost, log into your Myspace account.

---After your home page has loaded, click on Edit Profile, or if you wish you can hover over the "Profile" option in your blue navigator, then select Edit Profile.

---Highlight the code in this article and right click it. Select Copy.

---Bring up your Edit Myspace window. .

---Right click your mouse and select "Paste" to paste your code in your About Me section.

--Replace the IMAGE LINK section of the code with your banner image code you wish for you profile to have.

--Any other links or text you wish to have under it, can be placed in the "any text/links or videos here" section

--Save the changes and view them on your profile.

< style type="text/css" >

.profileWidth table { margin-bottom:400px; width:800px; }

.rail { display:none; }

.topbanner {

background:url(IMAGE LINK) top left no-repeat;

width:800px; height:400px;

position:absolute; top:0; left:50%;

margin:160px 0 0 -400px;

< /style >

< div class="topbanner" >

any text/links or videos here

< /div >

(Don't forget to close all the spaces in the code in order for it to work! Enjoy!)

    The Image doesn't go in, but i've got the huge space where it's meant to go. I didn't hv that before :) So it's one step closer? Hha
