How I Became a Pregnant Female for Halloween

Prior to having children of my own I could never get into the Halloween spirit. Perhaps I did outgrow it but whatever the reason was when I was told by my old boss I was suppose to dress up for Halloween I did not exactly care for the news.

Was it right to have someone force there beliefs on me? I personally did not think so and felt that I should not have to dress up. Unfortunately for me it was either do as the boss says or don't come to work.

Even though the idea of not coming to work on some merits it was not an option, not when I was soon to become a first time mom. However, I was not about to spend the money on a Halloween costume to wear for one day.

So I thought about it and thought about and finally gave up on all ideas and planned to go to work without dressing up. As I was getting ready to go I looked in the mirror and it hit me. I did have a costume I could wear and at the same time I could even get away without having to wear one.

It was brilliant at least I thought it was. As I got into work my boss got on me about not dressing up. I looked at my boss and smiled before simply saying. "I did dressed up. I am dressed up as a pregnant female".

It's the thought that counted, right?
