Step One: Sign up for Twitter (bypass this step if you already have an account)
1. Type the Twitter URL in your browser (www.twitter.com).
2. Towards the center of the homepage, you will find a big green box which states: "Get Started Join!" Click this box.
3. Fill out your information: Name, desired user name, passwords, and e-mail address in the fields given.
4. Fill out the 2 CAPTCHA's in the box and press the green button that states "Create my account".
5. The following screen will prompt you to check if your friends have an account with Twitter, you can always save this for later. Now, press the text that indicates "skip this step" towards the bottom.
6. The next screen will list some recommendations of people to follow on Twitter. Depending on personal choice you can choose who exactly you want to follow and receive updates from, or you can choose to decline them all.
7. This will bring you to your completed Twitter profile, which can be updated as you choose.
Step Two (Option 1): Search for Oprah's Twitter Page
1. Towards the top left of the home page, you will be able to see a listing of six different options, one of the options if "Find People". Click this option.
2. The resulting page will be a search page, type in "Oprah Winfrey" into your search bar.
3. There may be many Oprah impersonators on Twitter, so take care to find the correct one. Use the mouse to scroll down until you find the account named "Oprah / Oprah Winfrey", this account will have around a million followers.
4. Press "Follow", located right of the account selected
Step Two (Option 2): Directly input Oprah's page into your browser
*There are many false accounts with Oprah's name on Twitter, so going there directly may be the best option.
1. Go to your browser and type in http://twitter.com/Oprah.
2. On the top left corner, right underneath Oprah's photo, you will find a gray button which says "Follow".
3. Click this button, and you're done!
