How to Become an Online Psychic Clairvoyant; Lesson Two

If you are still interested in becoming an online psychic after having read through my first article (right click here) on how to become an online psychic let me now tell you about some of the steps involved in accruing your 'online psychic office and chat-room'.

Though I have worked on a few online psychic sites invariably all of them pay the psychic by the minute. Some sites are indeed reputable and make efforts to provide a good service by only employing psychics who can actually verify their skills. People can be forgiven for thinking that psychics may be earning large amounts of money but in truth they (you) are only paid when and if you are engaged with a client; and this may be not too often, particularly on the more reputable sites. Now, because I am assuming you want to work as an online psychic without having been blessed with any birth or lineage given inherent psychic ability these sites will be places for you to avoid.
Working on these more reputable sites doesn't pay as well other, higher profile expert sites either.

However the downside of the higher profile site is being in an environment where around 50% of the clients and other experts are weird, whacky, loony, abusive, paranoid and out to get you, upset you, abuse you, stalk you, slander you or otherwise bring you down somehow in order to make themselves feel better in some way. Yes; it is an unfortunate truth that these people need to treat you like a toxic waste dump to make themselves feel temporarily better. How to deal with these people and minimize the damage they may have on you will be discussed in Lesson 3.
And just to make it all worse site management, in the way-backs decided that a rating system based on a maximum of 5stars was the way to go. As all online psychics well know hardly anyone wants to hire you if you have less than 5 stars so this immediately means that you are placed in the precarious position of acquiring and protecting your star rating.
But more on this aspect will also be discussed later.

Having decided to now take a shot at being an online psychic who has little or no real psychic ability but who has very good people skills and a very good basic working knowledge about the pitfalls of love relationships you now need to write up a bit of advertising to bring in the clients. Firstly you will need something short and sharp to catch their initial attention and then you will need to at least write up one more in-depth advertorial profile to secure and nail their interest in hiring you. Such skills also require no psychic abilities either.
Next topic of immediate interest now is choosing which categories to attempt to place yourself into. Site management needs to approve both your choices and prospective profile and provides guidelines; though personally I have not found that any particular rules seem to apply and this is all a bit of a hit and miss affair. If at first you don't succeed and are rejected just change a couple of words and re-apply later.

Under the choices of categories you may like to consider listing yourself with you will find many headings, for instance:
Astrology; it is true there are good software programs out there you could use as more than adequate tools that can make calculations, interpretations and calibrations quickly on your behalf that, given that you possess the reasonable people skills alluded to earlier could enable you to 'wing it' under this category.
So if you so decide to try your hand at being an astrologer you may want to consider writing up a suitable profile. Not being an experienced or well trained astrologer doesn't mean your attempt at pretending to be one so that you can write up an appealing profile to be submitted under this heading will be rejected because site management know extremely little about such matters hence your chances of being accepted under this heading are moderately high.
In fact it has always been a 'bone of contention; with me that the categories and subheadings are in such shocking shape which reflects managements lack of interest and ability to 'clean it all up a bit' hence reflecting back their blatant interest in merely making money over a desire to deliver the genuine article to potentially sincere clients.
Many experts have only one generic type of profile that they submit under multiple headings that so often has completely nothing at all to do with the category subheading.

So if you would like to pretend to be an astrologer but don't necessarily want to display your general lack of knowledge about the basics of astrology you could instead try your luck at submitting a more generic profile that may be accepted under the astrology heading that has something or other to do with supposed psychic abilities. There is no rule or convention that says you must talk about astrology in order to be accepted under this heading.
Whilst we on the subject of astrology; astrology is a wide field which in itself could have at least a dozen or more valid subheadings and I do know there are clients out there who may be seeking valid advice given from within the perspective of certain parameters. Such clients have a vast, complex and tangled maze to navigate if they are indeed searching for something specific.

When I first joined the site I offered my expert services in helping the site clean itself up and in further categorizing their subheadings for them but instead they chose to maintain their erratic, unprofessional and unreliable status quo.
In fact there are many categories and subheadings from within the cluster that psychics work and submit their profiles into which you could 'wing it' with the help of easily used and available aids and software tools. You could have a go at numerology, dream analysis, tarot, cartomancy, kabbalah, angel readings, medicine woman card readings and even palmistry and graphology. Yes - you did hear me right; there are subheadings for online palmists and online graphologists where around 500 experts are listed in these two particular subheadings. I guess it could perhaps be possible to get your palm or handwriting analyzed if you had a high resolution web cam or sent in a scan but somehow I am guessing that those 500 or so experts listed in these categories don't read palms or handwriting live online.
Also cartomancy is not a very well known psychic art; and it happens to have been one of my mother's preferred divination methods. There are hundreds of experts listed under this category and I wonder how many can actually do cartomancy (a form of reading often done by gypsies using a deck of playing cards).
You may also want to consider listing yourself under rune readings and go buy a good book or two. You could also even list yourself under I Ching as there are several good books and possibly even software programs you could use as tools.

However I would advise you to keep yourself out of the sub headings requiring actual psychic ability and maybe some prior exposure and experience in the craft such as; remote viewing, mediumship, pet psychics, occult arts and possibly also aura reading despite the fact that both the site management and most experts disregard such professional sensibilities. Though how someone can actually read an aura via an online chat room is a topic worthy of discussion at a later date.

After having been approved and duly listed under as many subheadings as you can to maximize your exposure you can then download the required software from the site, decide what fee to charge, play a few games, write articles for AC or a whole number of other activities that are computer specific and sit back and see who cares to visit your chat room.
The approval process can take up to a couple of weeks to finalize and I would suggest that you do not need to worry which skill your clients may have just read that you possess cos as long as you can deal with the questions mentioned in the previous article (lesson one) the clients most likely wont be worried what divination skills you use as long as you don't move away from the chat-room to consult your software for too long whilst they are waiting for your return and paying by the minute. Staring at an un-moving online computer chat-room is not a very attractive past-time.
If it does indeed turn out that you have scored a discerning client who does want their reading couched in particular divinatory vernacular it is unlikely that they will berate you for being unable to deliver the particular goods they are seeking and I advise you to suitably redirect them. Quite how you will know where to redirect them requires knowledge of the skills of other readers and how you acquire this knowledge is also fodder for another article.

Divinatory techniques are indeed many and varied and some discerning clients just may be looking for something in particular. When a client arrives into your chat-room you do not get informed of which gateway they have arrived through and this is further testimony to the fact that site management really does not care too much about site credibility and quality control issues.
You may have gathered by now that I would be happy if the proclaimed skills of aspiring experts were actually assessed and that they were then only listed under subheadings where they possess the required skills. Such a possibility would actually mean a far reaching renovation of the site.

Now that I have made you aware about categories, briefly discussed and touched upon divination techniques and the writing up of some great advertorial you are now just about ready to enter and turn on your chat-room.
