Once you have looked at the earnings, look for a website that will protect you. You will want to be able to ban certain members if they become violent or rude. Some will also allow you to block certain areas to keep your neighbors or certain people in your town from viewing you or your webcam on their site. This is excellent if you don't want family or friends to find out. However, it will also take away from a few customers that might be in your area.
Next, make sure you can set your own rates per minute. The higher you go a minute, the less people will want to join in with you. You wan to start off with the lowest rate possible, but run the figures so you know how much you will make. You don't want to waste your time. Choose a lower rate to start off with if this is your first time. It will help, so that if you are nervous you wont disappoint your few clients. Later on, once you have loosened up and gotten the hang of it, you can raise your prices.
Now, you will want to take some seductive pictures in a few cute outfits that will help attract people to you. Don't show too much or people wont have anything to look forward to, but also don't hide too much or they wont find you attractive. It will also help if you can spend a little money to buy some sexy outfits, some people like roleplaying and it will definitely bring people back!
A little suggestion if this is your first time and you are nervous, make a few videos where you do some sexy things. Try anything! Roll around, change clothes, do what it takes so you can see what you look like. If it looks funny to you, it will probably look funny to other people too.
Now that you have set everything up and have been approved, you might want to find a few places that will allow you to post links to your site, so that you can direct traffic right to you and earn extra for referring people! Make sure you have a good quality webcam or video camera, if it is poor quality it will turn people off.

I'm not going to SPAM the forum with generic advertizing copy like most of the so-called "Agencies" above. Let me tell you a few things I've learned about cam modeling as the owner of a Studio hiring models (men/women & TS) internationally:
