I would like to share with you an incredibly easy recipe that anyone without any cooking experience can prepare for virtually any type of meal whether it be for dinner or lunch. It is called beef tapa. Beef tapa is very common to have as breakfast in the Philippines. Tapa means cured or dried. To us here in the United States, it is like beef jerky. It is a simple and easy dish for anyone to prepare at home. It has a sweet and delicious taste to it. You will see many Filipinos in the Philippines selling this dish to those who are too busy to prepare it for themselves and their families. It is great to take for those outings such as a picnic at the park or just going to the beach for a few hours with friends and family. So without further ado, onto the recipe for Beef Tapa!

These are the ingredients that you need to have below and how they should be prepared prior to marinating.

18 oz of beef that is cut into very thin strips. Each strip is to be 4 to 5 inches long and up to 2 to 3 inches wide.
4 cloves of garlic that you have crushed
6 tbsp of soy sauce
2 tsp of salt
1 tbsp of sugar
6 tbsp of vinegar
1/3 tsp of black pepper

Now what you will have to do next is to marinate it. Put the garlic, 6 tbsp of soy sauce, 2 tsp of salt, 1 tbsp of sugar, 6 tbsp of vinegar and 1/3 tsp of black pepper into a bowl. Mix all of these ingredients together thoroughly. When you have finished doing that, spread the mix equally on both sides of each beef strip. Place the marinated beef strips into sandwich bags and put them in your refrigerator. Leave them in there for 24 hours. After the beef tapa has been in your refrigerator for 1 day, take them out and now you are ready to cook the beef strips. Preheat a pan and put a few spoonfuls of oil in it. Fry up a few strips of beef at a time and wait until it is completely cooked. Do this for all of them until you are all finished. That is it! It is fairly simple to follow and it is a delectable dish. It is great to serve with fried rice or even eggs. Happy eating!
