To start off, mark where you want the rhinestones to go on the pacifier. Place these dots on the front part of the pacifiers guard and create a design of where you want them to go. Avoid making the dots bigger than the actual rhinestones themselves because these will make your measurements unmatched. Create the design to be simple, as the complicated it is, the less appealing it will be to everyone else. Having too many rhinestones on the pacifier will make it difficult for you to hold and it may seem messy.
Use a nontoxic craft glue gun to help with this process. Mark the small dots on to the back of each of the rhinestone so that it can be placed onto the pacifier guard. In this instance, you do not want to use a toxic craft glue because it may harm your child and it can also be unsuitable for the environment. So read the description of the glue gun before purchasing to ensure that it is a non toxic.
Before you use the pacifier, you must allow the glue to set. When finished, avoid moving the pacifier as much as you can, as it may alter where you have placed your rhinestones. Allow for the pacifiers to set for at least a couple of hours. The drying times will more than likely be displayed on the glue bottle.
You can also use items in your house when creating a design for the pacifier to try and keep the cost down because you do not want to spend too much on this creative design. You should also use self adhesive rhinestones. These can be bought from a craft store. These rhinestones can be easily moved so they are safe for the child to use. Avoid using pacifiers that have jewels and only use those ones for decoration purposes only. If there are any decorations or items that you are using that you are not sure of, ask your pediatrician for some advice.
