1) In the four square in the center of your screen, the first option is "Your Bookings". Click on "Create a Booking." Make sure that you have your pop-up blocker turned off, as the booking engine is a pop-up screen.
2) In the pop-up window, choose the destination. You do not have to necessarily choose the ship, unless your client requests one specifically.
3) Fill out the other pertinent information: dates for the cruise, number of staterooms, etc. You do NOT need the cabin type that the client is looking for. You can search by using "All Categories," which will already be filled in for you. Make sure, however, that you have the "Departure City" selected, even if your client does not want air.
4) Click on the "search" button.
5) A list of ships and sailing dates will appear on the big part of the screen. Select the preferred sailing date.
6) A list of rates will appear on the next page. You can compare these rates by checking off the boxes next to the ones that you want to compare, then clicking on one of the "Select" buttons.
7) A list of cabin categories and rates will appear on the next page. You can compare these rates by using the drop-down menu at the top of this list.
8) Once you decide which cabin is best for your client, click on the "Select" button.
9) A list of staterooms will appear. To read the description of each individual stateroom, click on the stateroom number. To look at the floorplan of the deck, click on the name of the deck (for example "Empress").
10) Choose the stateroom desired by clicking the "select" button adjacent to it.
11) The next window that will appear is the reservations window. Fill out your guest information, any special requests, and dining information by filling in the blanks. You can choose special requirements in the "Special Services" menu and checking off the boxes of the services that your clients require.
12) If there is another party that your clients want to dine with, fill in those booking numbers on the bottom of the page.
13) Click "Save & Proceed to Payment."
14) The next page is the payment page. You have three options: Pay Deposit, Pay Balance in Full, or Make No Payment At This Time. Should you choose Make No Payment, a deposit must be made within 2 days. If you choose any other payment, you must fill out the required information. If your client wishes to pay by check, please get the check from them directly, and send it into Carnival yourself.
After the booking is FULLY paid for, your agency will receive a commission check. When you receive your commission is dependent upon when your parent agency decides to give it to you.
