How to Boost in Halo 3 Matchmaking

So are you trying to learn how to boost in Halo 3's matchmaking system? Maybe trying to earn your Halo 3 Level 50 or even gain more exp? Here are 6 pretty simple steps to boosting in Halo 3.

Step 1: First get a few friends together in a party, make sure you are all within 5-10 ranks of each other. You should have 4-6 people in total.

Step 2: Then you all go to the Xbox 360 Dashboard, My Xbox Tab, all the way over to the right to System Settings, first one: Console Settings, 3rd: My Langage. Now you all need to decided which one to choose, you must all pick the same language. The favorites are: Portugues, Polski, or the 2nd to the bottom. If you have 4-6 people boosting you can pick one that nobody uses and you will match up because you need at least 4 at min. in a lone wolves match.

Step 3: So now you've all picked the same language and your back on Halo 3 in the matchmaking lobby. Now everyone pick Lone Wolves. But before you begin you all need to press X on your controller and choose 'My Language' which is the very bottom option no matter what. That is your search Priority. By searching in my language you up your odds of getting matched up together in the same game, and if your in a 'dead' language you will for sure get matched up together.

Step 4: So now start at the same time and keep others updated on how many players found you have. Now your all in a game together with nobody else. You should all match up together if you began your search together.

Step 5: Time to decide what to do. If you don't care about getting banned for 2 weeks from EXP, then everyone can get medals, sprees, etc and all tie for 1st place and just let time run out. Or you can fight it out and see who is better, but that takes away from boosting. You can let 1 person win, allow that player to get to around 20-22 and everyone else can get second at around 10-15. Once he/she is at 20-22 and everyone else is tied for 2nd you can let time run out if there's not much left, or the easier option of just letting him get to 25.

Step 6: Now you can continue to start your search at the same time and match up and do this. But eventually chances are a few of you will get a 2 week EXP ban. Which most people do not care about, but some avoid that. So mix it up, let a few tie at 2nd, a few at 3rd and another win. Let the same person win a few and he may rank up faster or just rotate between friends. If you get matched up with someone who is not boosting with you, send them a party invite or message, or go to game chat and ask if they want to boost. If they say no you will have to fight it out!
