How to Bootstrap Your Business

Starting a Business Takes Hard Work

AC FITNESS BOY
Starting a business takes guts and determination. My boss started a daycare and has been bootstrapping her way through ups and downs. It has always been a dream of hers to have a daycare and she has been working hard over a year to make it a reality.

She is a hard working Christian and has a Christian day care called Rainbow Day Child Care Academy. And it is really nice working there. I love working in a Christian environment and I see how much it takes to keep going.

You have to work hard when starting a business and keep expenses low. She bought a ten dollar sign and got her son's girlfriend to help paint it. It would normally cost $400.

We cut paper towels in half and try to maintain a clean environment. It is also very cheery and pleasant and everyone is nice to one another. Saving money is very important, so we use the rooms big windows for lighting throughout the most of the day.

She also gives harp and piano lessons to help keep her business going. We recently added six new kids and we are working hard to provide excellent care to each of these precious children. With Christ as our example, we are kind and loving to the children and make sure everyone stays clean and healthy.
Really, the great environment keeps me there even though I could have gotten a different job. And I am better having known Linda Plansoen and Rainbow Day Child Care Academy. I feel like I have grown so much hearing Christian Principals and seeing them in action.

No one is saying starting a business is easy. But if you are pursuing a dream, it is worth it. I find it is important to be filled with the holy spirit to get through a tough day. No matter where you work, you need to do your best. And if you are a boss, remember your customers are you're boss.

So many people dream of striking it reach, yet few actually make it. It takes some money, some talent, and a lot of guts to keep going day after day despite obstacles. There are so many government controls you have to deal with. Zoning, laws, and taxes. If the shear amount of red tape doesn't discourage you, the fact that you might lose your shirt might stop you from trying.

But if you do decide to bootstrap your way to riches, you'll be in good company. Many companies came from nothing, it can be burning desire from having nothing that can get you going to a thriving business.
