You may think that it will take a lot of work to learn how to buckle ski boots properly but really your ski boots will act like stiff clamps on your feet. Since your ski boots are so stiff, it seems like it will take a lot of work to buckle ski boots. There is a simple way to put your ski boots on and once you learn how to do this you will feel a lot more secure in them.

Unbuckle the ski boots. Lifting the buckles away from the notches does this.

Raise the tongue on your ski boots fully up and out. While in this position, slide your foot into your ski boots. Now that your foot is inside of your boot, pick up the boot and kick your heel against the ground. This will slide your heel into the correct position. You can begin buckling your ski boots now.

Fasten the power strap that goes around your shin. Next, buckle your toe buckle first at about its midway point. Finally, fasten the other three buckles on your ski boots. When you buckle ski boots it is important to work from the highest strap down to the lowest strap.

Start at your toe once again. Tighten the buckles on your ski boots one at a time so that your foot will feel really snug once you have them buckled. Now the final step is to re-tighten the power strap on your ski boots. When done in this way, it is really easy to buckle ski boots.
