* Body type. There are basically three types of people (keep in mind no one is one straight type). Skinny guys got fast metabolism and usually gain muscle very hard. However there are a lot of courses that can help you do that. Check out the end of the article for more free articles.
There are guys that do build muscle relatively easy compared to other guys. They usually are muscular even without any workouts. Yes some are blessed to have that trait. They will gain muscle almost no matter what do they do when working out.
And there is the third type of guys who gain fat very easy. Often when they gain muscle they stick some extra weight they have to burn. Those guys also need special diet plan and training to keep only the lean mass.
* Genetics. This is something you cannot change. There is no use to blindly fight it. You have to study it and go around it. This means type and amount of muscle cells. Typically this guys can be divided in hard gainers and normal gainers compared to their cell types. Hardgainers need to train more often and they need lesser rest time. They tend to have more big endurance.
Also higher number of cells helps building muscle and unfortunately you cannot change the number of cells you got genetically. However there are training programs especially designed for hardgainers which pinpoint the weakness and uses little tricks and body secrets to get that muscle growing.
* Hormones. Number one muscle building factor is the testosterone. There are also other hormones that help you. Training do increase this indeed. The body have some sort of hormonal balance that you cannot change that much without steroid intake. Don't go the dark side. There are ways to boost your testosterone level naturally and it will be enough for you.
* Nutrition. Your muscles and body need essential ingredients to grow. How do you build muscle without those? You don't. It is very important to get some sort of right diet for your body type and genetics as the food can be very big factor in your quest. Quality calories and frequent protein intake.
* Training. Above everything else you must design your training for the rest of your factors. Remember that you must train regularly and give time to rest of different muscles. Build your strength, strengthen your core muscles. Get program for your body type, genetics, hormones, free time and food intake. This way you will maximize your gains.
