In the Merriam-Webster online dictionary, we find the definition of prosperity as a successful, flourishing, or thriving condition. Prosperity can be something we experience in any area of our lives - romance, finances, friendships, career, etc. Calling forth prosperity in your life is asking for an abundance of romance, an abundance of finances, an abundance of friendships, etc.
Building and honoring your own prosperity altar is an act of faith, so to speak. If you've been praying for prosperity, this is a way to meet the situation halfway, as I believe, we are all co-creators of our own human experiences.
One of the energies that will be mentioned here a lot is the color green. Some of your items on your prosperity altar should be green. In an article published on Home Decorating Room-by-Room, they talk about how green has healing energy and how in Feng Shui it is considered a color symbolizing prosperity and abundance. Therefore, I feel it would be a great idea to use on your prosperity altar.
Below is a list of items you can gather for your altar, however, do not feel obligated to use only the items I mention here. Once you get the idea from looking at the list, feel free to get your own items to customize your prosperity altar to fit your needs.
Prosperity Altar
One small table (i.e., end table, small card table, etc.)
Green candles
A dollar bill or any other amount of cash
Green tablecloth or Green scarf
Your favorite plant (small) or a lucky bamboo plant
A copy of your favorite 'faith' or 'abundance' prayer
A small bowl of water with a few pinches of sea salt
Place your table in a corner in the room you'd like for the altar to be all the time. Use the green tablecloth or scarf to cover the surface of the table. This sets the tone for your altar. Now, I encourage you to use your intuition in how to arrange the candles, dollar bills, plant, and prayer on your table. Arrange it exactly how you feel it should be on the table. However, I do recommend that you place the small bowl of sea salt water near the back of the items on the table. This bowl of water represents cleansing of the energies on your table, so it doesn't have to be at the forefront of it.
Now that you have everything arranged how you'd like it, say a prayer from the heart to bless and consecrate the table by your angels or your Higher Power. Then, start to think about the type of ritual you'd like to develop with your altar.
For instance, you may want to say your prayer you've copied every day and light the candle for a few minutes each day. Or you may want to set a bill statement that needs some extra attention on the table and pray over it or just let it sit there for a few days focusing your intentions for it to be paid off on it.
The possibilities are endless when it comes to the Law of Attraction. So, be sure you help it along in your life and usher in the type of prosperity you'd like to experience.
