How to Build an RC Boat

Brenda Hoffman
RC boats are fun to play with, so it isn't surprising that a lot of people want to know how to build an RC boat. Fortunately, an RC boat is one of the easiest remote control "toys" to make.

In order to build an RC boat you will need an unassembled RC boat kit; a flat, spacious work area; industrial adhesive(s); a cutting knife;screwdriver with correct head(s); pliers; a terry cloth towel and an airbrush with paint.

Look at the instruction manual that comes with your RC boat. Make sure that you understand all of the instructions for your RC boat. If there is something that you don't understand, either call the store or the manufacturer.

Take a few minutes to get organized before you start building your RC boat. Make sure that you have all of the tools and parts that you need laying on a terry cloth so that they will not roll away while you are working on them.
When you build an RC boat make sure that you work slowly and follow the directions carefully.

Paint your RC boat with an airbrush. Do not use model paint with a paintbrush, as this is difficult and time consuming. Plus whenever you airbrush your RC boat it will look sleeker longer.

Once you have taken the time to build an RC boat, you will be able to enjoy playing with it. So, go have fun with your new RC boat.
