You will need:
Your size in clothing
A credit card
Follow these steps to buy your Santa suit:
Step 1:
Consider what type of Santa suit you need. If you just want your kids to get a glimpse of you placing presents under a tree, then you don't need to purchase an expensive costume. You just need the basic red get up with a hat and beard. You can wear your own black boots and buy your own white gloves.
Step 2:
Spend a little more money on a suit for a costume party. This is especially a good idea if you plan on entering a contest for the most believable costume. This Santa suit will have a little more detail than your average suit, but will still come with the hat and beard. It may also come with a Santa belly so you don't have to use one of your pillows.
Step 3:
Go all out on a designer Santa suit if you plan on getting a job as Santa Clause for the season. You want to impress your prospective employer so that you will get the job. Keep in mind that most designer Santa suits don't come with the hat beard. They must be purchased separately. This will cost you more money upfront, but you will make it back working as Santa. You will also have the suit to use again the next year.
Step 4:
Purchase a costume based on your budget. Santa suits range from $70-$350. If you want a designer suit, but just can't afford it you will be forced to stick to your budget when buying a Santa suit.
Step 5:
Head to Anytime Costumes (see resources) and pick the type of costume you want or the costume that fits your budget.
Step 6:
Make sure the size costume you want is one that will fit you. Men's Santa suits are measured according to jacket size. Measure one of your jackets at home to make sure it matches.
Step 7:
Click "Add to Cart" and then "Proceed to Checkout". Once at checkout you will need to input your personal information and then give them your billing information. You will need a credit card to make your purchase. Then review your order and click "Submit". your Santa suit will be on its way.
Tips and Warnings:
Santa suits run about a size smaller than your normal size. It is best to choose the larger one than to buy one that you can't squeeze in to.
Order in October to make sure you receive the costume in time for the holiday season.
Make sure to check whether the wig and beard are included in the purchase price or whether you have to buy it separately.
