How to Calm My Crying Baby?

danielle
Crying and baby is something that can't be tearing apart. Babies communicate through crying, it is a part of babies life. It is a physiological process for all babies. Crying is a way for them to communication. Since babies do not express their feeling in words, they use crying as a communication tool.

When will babies cry? Baby will cry when they feel uncomfortable, crying is the tool they use to express their discomfort and dissatisfaction. So, if your baby cries there is a reason why he is crying, it is either telling you they are hungry, wetting, pain, feeling hot or cold, or the cloth is not comfortable. Some of the newborn will cry when they can't find any people around them.

Most of the parent feels uneasy with the baby's cry. You can try all of this when your baby is crying. When your baby is crying, try to feed him with breast milk and sometime this will make him quiet. If not, try a pacifier or thumb sucking which might stop him from crying too.

If feeding does stop the baby from crying, you will need to check the nappy. If it is wet then remove it and cleaning his private parts by padding it dry with soft towel.

Baby will also cry when they feel uncomfortable. You will need to check on the cloth he is wearing. Cloth which is too tight will cause irritation to baby's sensitive skin. So change his attire. Sometimes, baby cries when they are in uncomfortable position. Change his position on the bed.

You need to be sensitive to the weather changes. Sometime baby cry because they feel uncomfortable with the environment, the room is too hot. Put on the fan and open some windows or door. But if the climate is cold, then you will need to cover him in soft towel.

Some of the babies cry because of habit. So, sometimes they are crying to seek for attention. If you already try all the above and it does not help you to calm your baby down then try to carry and walk outdoors with him. Or you can try to put him on the cradle and rock gently. Some baby also enjoy parent patting his back or stroke his head slowly and let him enjoy your soothing around.

If you are trying all the methods and it still do not help to calm your baby down then try switching on with music. Music is a wonderful way to clam and soothe your baby. Many parents surprise with the effect of music when dealing with their fussy babies.

But do bear in mind; do not shake the baby vigorously when they are crying. It is very dangerous.

That loud shhhhhh sound is so incredible that I had to reproduce it on a recording because I was getting light headed from doing it so much for my daughter.

It lasts for 48 minutes and it works every time!

I actually gave it to some friends as well to try with their babies and they loved it too.

I hope it works for you, good luck.
