How to Make Your Car Cool

A Proven Way to Quickly Change the Temperature of Your Vehicle when You Get In

Noel Galvez
Do you find it difficult to enter your car during hot or warm days?

Do you feel bad when you have to park where there's no shade or tree to keep your car cool?

During summer, do you or any member of your family sometimes feel sick when you have to stay in an airconditioned place then go to your car which is parked outside under the sun and do the same routine many times in a day?

Don't worry! There's a proven way to change the temperature of the inside of your car, so you will feel more comfortable riding it.

Before telling you my recommendation, here are other ways to keep your car cool:
1. Use a car shade.
2. Keep the aircon on, the engine running and carry a duplicate key. This is not recommended though because someone might just steal your "cool" car :)
3. Slightly open the two front windows. It is better to do this if you know you are parked in a safe place, and if the outside of the windows have protective plastic visors.

When I was in college, a Science professor of ours told us that it is possible to make the passengers feel cool when you do this:

1. Buy a plastic spray bottle.

2. Pour 1/2 water and 1/2 alcohol - ethyl or isoprophyl. I don't know if liquor works, but I suggest you only use any the first two items or the police might think that you're a drunk drive :) If you pour more alcohol, you might get white stains on your dashboard so don't add too much of it.

3. Before you get in the car, point to the ceiling of the car then spray at least two times. Spray on the back of the car. You don't have to spray directly on the seats, just make sure that you are adding the cool mist to the air that circulates.

4. Turn on your aircon and wait for less than a minute before entering the car.

You will notice that unlike before, your car will be more comfortable to ride in.

Try it and tell me if it works for you!
