How to Celebrate an Anniversary when Visiting Walt Disney World
Ideas, Full of Romance and Surprise, Your Spouse is Sure to Love
The Grand Floridian Spa, located between Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Disney's Wedding Pavilion, offers massages for couples. While these can get a bit pricey, massage services can be a great way for couples to relax together. While you are in the area, stroll on over to the gift shop at the Grand Floridian Resort and explore the Victorian Mickey and Minnie items, as well as wedding items. While these are popular wedding souvenirs, acquiring one for an anniversary is equally appropriate to commemorate a special visit.
For a romantic dinner, consider renting a table at Victoria and Albert's. This is the finest restaurant available on Disney property and by booking the chef's table, couples can have their food personalized and prepared just for them. If Victoria and Albert's is too expensive, a great option is to book a restaurant that has an outside eating area with views of the nightly fireworks. Try to book the latest possible sitting so you will have a romantic dinner under the fireworks. For people who love the ambiance between the contrast of dark and light, consider the San Angel Restaurant inside of the Mexico Pavilion. This location is in dark, offset by tabletop candlelight, with an Aztec temple in the distance as your scenic backdrop.
Another idea to end your romantic anniversary celebration is the evening fireworks cruise. A couple can reserve a pontoon or wooden motor boat commandeered by a Disney cast member to view the evening Illuminations: Reflections of Earth or Wishes fireworks shows. Chartered cruises depart thirty minutes prior to the nightly show and last for an hour. Should you choose this idea, bear in mind that it can cost in the neighborhood for $200 and up. Reservations can be made ninety days before your visit, and tend to fill-up very quickly.
It is also important to remember not to forget the small things that are important to a memorable and romantic anniversary celebration. If you are staying on the concierge level at a Disney resort, speak to the guest representative on the concierge level and inform him or her that you are celebrating your anniversary. You may be able to receive some assistance and suggestions about romance packages, special room service for couples, and other memorable activities. They can also put you in touch with the Disney Florist and help ensure your anniversary gifts are waiting in your room for you upon your request.
Whichever activities you select to celebrate your anniversary, being at Walt Disney World will make any choice of activity you choose an event to remember for both you and your spouse.

Post a Commentreally nice article, I was thinking about going to disney for my anniversary, and this article had some really great ideas.
I love disney. I did not know about the cruises. I want to go back there.
I am going next month with my "sweetums"
Since I am not married, I can take all the fun for myself and double it. Humm... would that include getting 2 massages?
