Oxidative Stress occurs when the level of free radicals are too high in our bodies. A balanced level of free radicals is acceptable since they have some positive functions. However, too low or too high levels can cause damage to our cells.
There are many things that can cause cells to become damaged. Some of these factors are the toxins we are exposed to, dehydration, hydrogenated fats, stress, over the counter or prescription drugs, the over consumption of animal protein, preservatives, alcohol, and even chlorinated water. The list goes on and on.
What is cellular nutrition and what can where can we get it? Cellular nutrition aides in fighting free radicals, formed as a result of Oxidative Stress, which can cause damage to our cells. Cellular nutrition includes foods that contain antioxidants, Omega 3, and fermented ingredients. They help to rid the body of these free radicals. Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables is another source because it can help to eliminate toxins in the body. The key is to build up the cells since they are doing most of the work. Healthy cells mean a healthy you.
However, the foods we eat are not enough. The U.S. diet makes it difficult to possibly ingest all of the antioxidants our cells need to work optimally. Antioxidants such as Vitamin A, B, C, D, E, and other nutrients have to work together to reach maximum results. A well balanced diet is vital so that antioxidants can work together simultaneously. In order for the body to reach its maximum potential supplements should be taken. These are not your typical supplements, such as vitamins. Instead, these supplements are meant to build cells up to their optimal speed so that they can determine what the body needs. This approach eliminates any guess work researchers had to go through in the past.
The research that has been done on cellular nutrition can reverse the effects of the high levels of oxidative stress we have been exposed to. By eating a well balanced diet and taking supplements that target cellular nutrition our bodies can dramatically reverse the effects of an unhealthy lifestyle and our environment.
