How to Change Your YoVille Settings on Facebook

YoVille is the second most popular game on Facebook. If you are just starting with YoVille, you will probably want to adjust your game and personal settings. In this tutorial, I will show you how to change your settings in the YoVille game. You will need to login to your Facebook account to get started.

How to Get to Your YoVille Game

You will first need to get to your YoVille game. At the bottom of your browser, you will see the Applications button. Click that button and you will see the YoVille game in that box. Click the link and your game will load.

Opening Your Settings Page

Next, you will need to open your settings page. Once you YoVille game loads, you will see the different tabs at the top of your game. Click the Settings tab to load the settings page. There are different sections on this page. We will go through each section.

Account Settings

The account settings is where you can change your email and name. The email that is provided in this box is where you will receive your notifications about YoVille. So, enter your email in the email box. The other two fields is where you can change your name. If you do not wish to receive email from YoVille, don't enter an email address in the Email field.

Your Character Settings
This is where you change the name of your player. If you wish to name your player something else, enter it in this field.

Email Notifications
This is where you can change the types of emails you will get. You will see the different email notifications and beside each notification is an On and Off button. Tick the button of your choice for each email notification. If you do not wish to receive email notifications, then tick the Off button for each field.

Profile
These are the settings for your profile. This section controls the images on the game. You can choose to turn certain images on and off. Read through the images and make your selection for each one. These images will be displayed on your profile. You can turn all of them off or all of them on or just the ones you want on.

Once you are finished changing your settings, click the Save Changes button. You can come back to the settings page at any time and adjust your settings. The settings on this page only applies to your YoVille game. These settings do not apply to your Facebook account.
