How to Make Chicken Fried Steak with Country Gravy

Recipe Stolen from Tex's Mom

Bubba
I have been told the best Texan dish is Chicken Fried Steak. I believe there are as many recipes for Chicken Fried Steak as there are restaurants in Texas. I also have heard folks from other states claim this dish as originating in their home. Well my pal Tex claims he rode the Oregon Trail with John Wayne, fought at the Alamo with Davy Crockett, and cooked for the President of Texas. Y'all know he can stretch the truth a tad. Tex claims this is his Mom's recipe. I almost believe him. Y'all roll up your sleeves, take off your rings, wash your hands, and let's get cooking... someone please put on a fresh pot of Columbian Coffee this could take a while.
