How Children Teach the World Many Things

Jenny Heart
Children express things daily. They don't bottle up stress. They want the world to know if they're happy, sad, or mad. People should try to share more about their experiences of their days. People may eliminate many of their stresses if they learn to talk about what's on their mind like children do.

Children who are angry tend to scream, throw things, and act inappropriately. The people of this world can learn how not to act when they are stressed. They can think how inappropriately certain actions look to others.

Children love awards, and they show it with great enthusiasm. Children take the time to make sure they share their accomplishments with everyone that walks through their door. The people of this world should think about sharing their accomplishments with their families as well. Families that share in their good fortunes will keep their bonds for each other always bonding stronger.

Children love to have lots of friends to play with. They want to call them often, or knock on their door to come out and play with them. Parents can learn the value of friendship by watching, and listening to their children.

Many people of this world take friends for granted, or tend to put everything else in their life before spending time with friends. People should watch how children can't wait to hear another child calling them to come out and play. The children that were faithful friends usually had them knocking on their door, or calling them soon afterwards. Why? Friends treat friends well, and will never forget someone that is always there for them.

Most children want to share their tears as well as their times of laughter. Children that bottle up their emotions turn into angry or silent children. Children that hide their feelings are going to do this when they are older as well. People of this world should learn from the tears of children. They will find out that while painful experiences are indeed painful, that hiding from it isn't going to solve anything. It will create more problems, unless they learn how to talk about their feelings.

Children are marvelous teachers. They have a lesson inside them each and everyday. What lesson could you learn from the children in your life today? You may just be surprised and learn more than one thing.

What have you learned recently? I've learned that children can take all your worries away, if you take the time to spend time with them in their wonderful world of enchantment. If you've learned something special lately feel free to comment about it.

Jenny, we tend to mold them into our world of practicality or may I say hypocrisy. We fail the creator, who gives us the most innocent of all, babies; our responsibilty to mold them to realize heaven on earth, but we fail! - siva

So true. This is my first day trying to sit up and read since my illness. Hang in there with me. I'm still a bit weak in the knees but I will try to keep up.

Children can teach us many things but sometimes they tend to hide theirs.

You obviously are very attentive when around children - something all of us should strive to be. Thanks for being such a great example. rcj
