How to Make a Child's Boutique T-Shirt

Just by decorating a child's T-shirt, you can transform a simple cotton T-shirt into custom designed boutique clothing. It is far less expensive than boutique clothing and you can personalize the shirts to suite your child. With minimal supplies and a creative imagination you can design a fun and whimsical boutique T-shirt your child will love.

Elegant Tee's for Her: This beautiful T- shirt has an elegant and feminine quality about it. Begin with a solid white T-shirt and white crocheted trim (available at any fabric store). Simply attach the crocheted trim by sewing or gluing (washable fabric glue) to the collar, sleeves and the bottom hem. Simply boutique chic!

Easy Ribbon Tee's: All it takes to create this fun and whimsical boutique T-shirt, is a T-shirt, ribbon and no fray ribbon solution. Simply stitch 2 buttonholes on each side of the arm sleeves and snip them open. Thread the ribbon through the buttonholes and tie them into a bow. Around the bottom of the T-shirt, stitch a row of buttonholes approximately an inch apart. Using one ribbon along the front and another ribbon along the back, weave the ribbon through the button holes and tie a pretty bow on each side.
