Where will you go?
It probably would be best to start by choosing the best destination for your child's first trip. Does your child like animals, snow, bugs, etc.? Thinking of these, will probably help you be able to choose right away. Now if your on a tight budget or a little extra spending budget, then these are other factors you may want to consider before choosing a destination. What would be age appropriate? Is it time to go visit family that lives out of town? Will it be for a holiday? Even more things to consider! So take out a notepad and pen and start writing down ideas and plans!
Making this trip extra special!
Now as you did in the first paragraph, think of things your child likes. How could it be incorporated into his or hers first trip? Making the first trip special , does not mean you have to have a lot of money. Do you plan on going to the beach? If so plan to bring a brand new beach set and surprise your child! Or buy a book about the ocean and have your child go on a beach hunt to find things they see from the book. These ideas are fun easy ways to make it even extra special for them!
Making this trip Memorable!
What to you would be the best way to make your child's first trip memorable? To me its making sure you bring a camera and lots of film! Taking pictures of every moment! What is better than catching every moment in pictures to make things memorable! Now why not add some other stuff to make it more memorable? Try brining a picnic of fun shaped foods, finger foods, and your child's favorite foods. Sure to make them have fun and be happy. cover their body in sand, head out of course, and take a picture. This memorable moment will sure make everyone laugh for years to come! These small things will add a little to their first trip!
Making this trip exciting!
How could you make a first trip more exciting for your child? Well, you could find out all different activities the city, town, etc., provide. Try to find places kids can go for free! Helps the trip to be fun and less expensive! Map out a plan to how you want to handle the trip. For example, Hotel first, then nap, then get cleaned up, then head to beach then go to the souvenir shop, and so on and so forth! This will help you to stay somewhat organized and still have fun. Now be sure to buy them something with place you go's name, from the souvenir shop!
Now this trip should end up planned, yet fun. Your child will enjoy every moment and so will the rest of the family!
