There are tons of different options and settings that do look to be a little confusing if you had not looked at a bread maker before. The manual that comes with it helps to figure out which button does what. It makes 3 different size loaves up to 2 1/5 pounds. If you follow the recipe manual, the loaves come out perfect every time. There is even a rapid bake cycle that will get your loaf from dough to table in 1 hr and 55 minutes. This awesome machine even has a delay timer so you can put all of the ingredients in for a coffee cake and while you sleep it will bake. You will wake up to the sweet smell of fresh baked coffee cake to serve with your morning coffee.
