Find the right home-based business for you could take some time and should not be rushed along. Think about what kinds of things you enjoy doing. Do you like to work with people or not? By talking with friends and family members it give you some ideas about what your business should be.

Paper & pen
Courage to try something new

• Turn cell phones, television, ect. off for about a half hour or more to think and write down what kinds of activities you enjoy doing. Go back over the list and look at each one on that list. Ask yourself this question 'Can I do this every day and make money at it.

• Do research on the internet through Google or any other search engine for business opportunities that strike you as interesting.

• Talk with friends, family members, and inquire about their home-based business or information they have heard about businesses.

• Make a PROS and CONS list. On a piece of paper however you want to divide the paper. Label one side PROS, and the other side CONS. This has helped me out more than not. Do this for each business or idea.

Remember by taking extra time in the beginning of starting a business could mean the success of you and your business.

I would love to work from home, but I would probably get bored with looking at the same scenery every day!
