How to Make Christmas Angels Out of Computer Paper

You Can Personalize These with Photos

Barbie Crafts
You can make Christmas Angels out of computer paper, quickly and easily. They are actually quite cute. This is a great craft for adults, or kids. I used a photograph for my face, but you can cut out a face from a Christmas card, too.

Wouldn't Grandmother love a Christmas ornament with her precious grandchild' s face on it?

Of course, you can use decorative paper, if you wish. However, if you are looking for an inexpensive, easy Christmas ornament for kids to make, this is a great idea.

Materials:
Paper, any kind
A face cut-out that fits the scale.
glue
gold cord or sequins
paper clip for hanging as Christmas ornaments

Step 1
Fold the computer paper in half. Cut. If you are using a decorative paper to make Christmas ornaments, cut a piece around the same size, 5 1/2" by 8".

Step 2
Starting at the short end, fan-fold or pleat like you are making a paper fan. Try to make small, neat folds for more professional looking Christrmas angels.

Step 3

Cut down the center pleat for around 1 1/2". See Diagram 1.

Step 4

Bend each side down for wings. See Illustration 2

Step 5

Staple 1/4" down from the top to secure wings in down position. You will probably need a decent stapler to get through all layers. See Illustration 3

Step 6

Spread out the pleats and glue on the face you have cut out. Be sure the scale is right. You don't want big faces on little Christmas angels.

Step 7
With gold cord or sequins, make a halo. Glue the ends together, and glue to the angel's head.

Step 8
Open a paper clip, and insert through the back to hang your Christmas ornaments. You could also glue ribbon or cord for hanging your Christmas angels.

Tips & Warnings
When gifting Christmas ornaments, the presentation is important. Wrap your Christmas angels in Christmas ornament boxes or other nice holiday wrapping.Children should always have supervision when working with sharp objects or glue.
