Have you ever wanted to make your own special ornament on your Christmas tree? If you wanted to you probably would have already tried. And let me guess it became a total disaster. If not, good for you, but if you had this problem or you just want to learn follow these directions so you can make a special ornament all by yourself.

Just get these supplies from your home or the nearest craft store:

A 1 ½ x 2-inch picture of you or a family member

Sequins of any shape

A 4-inch Styrofoam ball

Glue

4 Straight pins

A paper clip

Glitter or glitter glue

First what you have to do is take the paper clip and bend it perfectly straight. Now take either side and about an inch from the top bend it so it curves. It now should look like a cane. Now stick the side that is not curved and put it into the foam ball. Leave the curve and about a ½ inch sticking out of the Styrofoam ball.

Now it is time to decorate your ornament. Take your sequins and glitter and start gluing patterns, pictures, or crazy designs around your picture you could also. If you have anything else you would like to add to the ornament feel free to do so. You can make it as calm or crazy as you would like. Then take the 1-½ inch x 2-inch picture and glue it and pin it in the corners so the head is pointing towards the paper clip, or in other words the top.

Next hang up your ornament to dry. You should let it dry overnight to make sure that it is fit for a tree.

Finally when you are decorating your Christmas tree bring out your Christmas ornament and hang it up by the paper clip in a special place where everyone can see it.

Maybe if you wanted to make a second one you could change the pattern like make the sequins go in stripes from top to bottom or left to right or maybe put multiple pictures on it. Any way you do it, it will end up being the star attraction on your Christmas tree.

So making an ornament is easy. Just make your paper clip hanger and decorate your foam ball with sequins, pictures, and glitter. Let it dry and you have made your own Christmas ornament!
