How to Make Clay Pot Candle Centerpieces for the Wedding Tables

Pam Parent
Clay pot candle centerpieces are a lovely choice for a bride who is having a country, outdoor, beach or casual wedding. They will add charm and warmth to each wedding table. After the wedding, these candle centerpieces can be given to the bridesmaids as a thank you for participating in your special day.

Clay Pot Candle Wedding Centerpiece

Supplies:

Large clay pot
Medium pillar candle
Green moss
Dried flowers
Glue gun and glue sticks
Satin ribbon
Scissors

Directions:

1. Fill half the clay pot with the green moss. Place the pillar candle inside the clay pot, and on top of the moss. Fill the rest of the clay pot and the area around the candle with moss. Do this until the candle is sturdy and moss is level to the rim of the clay pot.

2. Glue dried florals around the top of the moss that is surrounded the pillar candle. Make sure this wedding centerpiece arrangement is full and colors are evenly distributed.

3. Tie the satin ribbon into a bow around the center of the clay pot. Trim ends. Glue dried florals to the center of the satin bow.

The candle clay pot centerpiece can be customized according to the theme of the wedding. Instead of using dried florals for decorating the rim of the clay pot candle centerpiece, glue seashells around the candle for a beach wedding. The decorating variations are endless.
