Clean your diamond jewelry using Alka-seltzer tablets
This may seem strange, but it's a great way to clean your diamond jewelry at home. Boil some water, and pour it in a bowl. Put one Alka-seltzer tablet in the bowl and let it fizz. Put your diamond jewelry in the bowl and let it sit. After ten minutes, take your diamond jewelry out of the solution and use a toothbrush to scrub the surface of the jewelry to remove any dirt. Rinse your diamond jewelry under some cold water and it should look as good as new!
Clean your diamond jewelry using liquid detergent
Everyone has detergent in their home, so this is one of the easiest ways to clean your diamond jewelry. Put some warm water in a bowl and add a little bit of liquid detergent to the water. Put your diamond jewelry in the bowl. While it is soaking, use a toothbrush (or something similar) to gently scrub your diamond jewelry. Take your diamond jewelry out of the solution and rinse it under warm water and let it dry.
Clean your diamond jewelry using ammonia
You do not have to use pure ammonia to clean your jewelry, any cleaning product (such as window cleaner) will work great for cleaning your diamond jewelry at home. Pour some of the cleaning solution with ammonia into a bowl. Put your diamond jewelry in the bowl and let it soak overnight. In the morning, take the jewelry out and use a toothbrush to scrub any extra dirt off. Rinse the diamond jewelry off with some water and then dry it off gently with a washcloth.
Clean your diamond jewelry using jewelry cleaner
Jewelry cleaner is not hard to come by, it can be found at most drug stores and grocery stores. Look through the jewelry cleaners and find the jewelry cleaner for diamonds. Purchase this, read the instructions, and follow them exactly. This is very simple, although it will require you to spend more money than using your regular household items.
