How to Clean Skateboard Bearings Using Bones Bearing Cleaner

Life
As a fellow skateboarder, you are most likely familiar with the tedious process that is cleaning your bearings.

There are many different methods you can use to effective clean your skateboard bearings, but none compare to the sheer easiness that this method has to offer.

So what is the secret?

Bones Bearings Cleaner and Bones Speed Cream

If you have any sort of knowledge about bearings, you know that Bones is the leading manufacturer. They regularly produce only the highest quality of bearings for those of us who love to skateboard.

Well, a recent addition to the Bones brand of products is Bones Bearing Cleaner and Bones Speed Cream. Both of these products can and should be used hand-in-hand to get the most out of your bearings.

Not only are these products extremely effective, but they are also extremely easy to use - and you don't have to worry about getting your hands too dirty.

Cleaning and Lubricating the Bearings

I am going to walk you through the process of cleaning your bearings with these two products.

Remove your bearings and pop off the shields like you normally would when cleaning your bearings. To pop off the shield, use a small poker of some sort to pop them off and be careful in doing so.

Bones Bearings Cleaner comes with a convenient metal rod that is attached to the cap of the bottle. This rod is designed to hold eight bearings, and comes with metal spacers that will hold the bearings in place.

Simply unscrew the cap, and place all eight of your bearings onto the metal rod. Fasten the bolt on the bottom to secure them in place, and place them back into the Bones Bearing Cleaner.

Screw the cap on tightly and shake the cleaner that contains your bearings, making sure all the liquid gets in every little spot of the bearings.

Unscrew the cap, unfasten the bolt, and place all of your bearings onto a paper towel or rag so they can dry off.

Next, apply the Bones Speed Cream or any other sort of lubricant designed for skateboard bearings. Please do not use WD40 because that will just wreck your bearings. After you have lubed up your bearings, place them back in your wheels and you are ready to go!
