How to Clean a Toilet

Chad R. Herman
Nobody wants to clean the bathroom, and no one definitely wants to clean the toilet. It's the one spot in the house that collects and makes human waste disappear. The problem is that this waste doesn't always completely go away, and the constant water running in the bowel, causes a buildup of all of the other chemicals in the tap water. So how do you clean the toilet?

Step 1: You have to find a brush to clean the toilet, because nobody is going to volunteer to put their hand in a dirty bowel. or buying a toilet brush. You're going to need a brush that can get all around the bowel as well as under the lip. The lip is where all the germs are lurking, so you really need to get into that crevice. Some of the best brushes out there will have the front of the brush bent up at an exaggerated angle. Th cheap brushes out there will just be oval. With a toilet brush, you get what you pay for. You''ll want a brush that will get into every crevice of the bowel.

Step 2: You have to now find the right cleaner. If you want to get a really great clean sanitized toilet, you'll have to use some major elbow grease. Get some good powder cleanser. The more powder the better. Shake the powder all over the inside

Step 3: Once the bowl is full of cleanser, take you brush and stir it around a bit. You get a blue sludge, this is exactly what you're looking for. The more blue sludge you have, the more cleaning power you have. Scrub that blue cleanser into every part of the bowel. This is where that upturned part of the brush comes in handy. Place that part, and start scrubbing under the lip. You'll be surprised what you find underneath that lip. When done scrubbing, flush the toilet. If there's any place you missed, go back and do it again.

Step 4: Most people feel they are done here, but on the contrary. Get a bottle of Window cleaner and spray the whole toilet. Wipe the whole thing off, and you're done. Remember to get all the way down to the floor, because you never know what travels down the outside of the bowel.

It's a nasty, disgusting, revolting job that turns most stomachs. No matter how many times you've cleaned your toilet, you might want to try a new way and be surprised with what you find underneath the gunk.
