If your wife has been wanting you to clean the your filthy vinyl siding, or if you are the wife who wants the outside of your house to be as clean as the inside, then you need to look into one of these following products that will make learning how to clean vinyl siding very easy.

Mold Armor House Wash
Mold Armor is a wash that can connect onto the end of your hose and uses just the pressure of your outside hose faucet to clean your vinyl siding. Mold Armor is the perfect product for those just learning how to clean vinyl siding. Mold Armor is a spray on and rinse off product that I found works best when letting set for at least an hour. Mold Armor performed quite well at removing mold, mildew, dirt, dead bugs, algae, and mud. Mold Armor claims that one 56oz bottle will clean up to 4000 square feet and I believe that to be pretty accurate, our house is has about 2000 square feet of exterior walls and we used about half a bottle of Mold Armor. We purchased a 56oz bottle of Mold Armor for $54.95.

House Brite Vinyl Siding Wash
House Brite Vinyl Siding Wash is another wash that connects on to the end of your hose and is a spray on and rinse off product. This product performs well at removing bird droppings, mud, dirt, dead bugs, algae, and mold. House Brite Vinyl Siding Wash comes in a 56oz bottle and cleans about 1700 square feet. House Brite Vinyl Siding Wash is safe to use on both Vinyl and Aluminum siding, and they claim it will work on painted surfaces that are in good shape. We found House Brite works a little better when we let the product set over night and then reapplied. You can purchase House Brite Vinyl Siding Wash for $80 dollars from your local Ace hardware stores.

Simple Green
Simple Green is a product that I use for many things around the house. Simple Green comes in 22 ounce spray bottles, or you can purchase it in concentrated form that will give you several hundred ounces. Simple Green worked extremely well for me in removing everything from our vinyl siding. We live in a hot humid environment and algae is a huge problem. Simple Green removes it effortlessly. Our Vinyl siding was stained in several places by some paint and oil, and Simple Green cut right through them. We applied the Simple Green and followed behind it with a high pressure hose nozzle. Simple Green can be purchased at any home improvement store for around $9 for a 22 ounce bottle.

Tips for beginners learning How to Clean Vinyl Siding

-Don't use a pressure washer. If you use the wrong nozzle on a pressure washer you will rip your vinyl siding right off the wall.
-Stay away from bleach. My neighbor used a diluted bleach and now their vinyl siding is splotchy.
-Use a product like Armor All to coat your Vinyl Siding and this will prevent dirt and other products from sticking to it.

I should have added that Mean Green is sort of a generic Simple Green. You can buy it at Dollar General and other such stores for $5 a gallon.

I use Mean Green to clean the walls of our travel trailer. Using it almost straight will
remove black streaks, but it will also remove the numbers from the metal weight tag on the trailer and the skin from your hands. By the way, I'm still getting notices of your articles without your name on them. Should I contact AC or should you?
