How to Clear Private Data in Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer

Private data refers to the sensitive information saved on a system using Firefox. It is important to keep this data clear to prevent any information from landing in the hands of a hacker. The "private data" includes:

• Browsing History: This is a detailed look at all of the websites a person has visited since the last time the private data was cleared.
• Download History: With the browsing history, comes the list of files that have been downloaded since the last time the list was cleared.

• Cache: This is the temporary storage place for files and media you've downloaded from the web.

To clear the private data:

3. Select "Delete Browsing History".
