You come home with some beer that's been bought from the shelf,
Or it was sitting somewhere, and it warmed itself.
You pop ten beers in the fridge and two in the freezer,
Twenty minutes later they're still just a teaser.
So what do you do to get a cold brew,
When you want one now, not in an hour or two?
You fill up a pot with cold water and ice,
Throw a cup of salt in it, and mix it up nice.
Place your beer in the pot, but leave the cap fool,
Turn it round and round slowly to distribute the cool.
Refrain from dipping your hand in the bin,
As the freezing solution can damage the skin.
The salt cools the liquid and your beer will be cold,
After two or so minutes, or so I am told.
Next time you buy beer, get it pre-chilled,
Then you won't have to keep getting your salt-stock refilled.
