Michelle Knudson
Every person in the world experiences jealousy to some degree or another. Jealous is a normal human emotion that nearly everyone has regarding things in life. We often feel jealous due to something that we can't have.

Romance Jealousy

We may feel jealous of another person in a romance relationship. We especially may feel jealous of our ex spouse new husband or wife. We may not be able to fully comprehend the jealous feelings, but it is there driving us nuts. We might feel jealous that he or she has a better career several years later and wonder why we couldn't have that life with that person now. We are jealous of what we could have had in some cases regarding romance.

Career Jealousy

We often get jealous of others that are more successful than we are in life. We often secretly envy them in their career. We want to be better than them in every way possible in the career aspect. We may even feel like that we are not good enough to even be standing next to them due to jealousy. Career Jealousy can make us feel like we are in a competition that we will never win no matter what.

Vehicle Jealousy

Many of feel jealous when our best friend or ex spouse can afford their dream car. We may feel jealous that we can not afford a car like that at this point in our life. The jealousy might even get worse afterward if she or he offers to take us for a spin around the block in it to show off their new hot vehicle. The jealousy feelings can get worse when we start to see everyone around us being able to afford a new hotter car than what we have. It can especially get worse when family members start to harp on us to drive something better than what we already have. The stress can be overwhelming regarding buying a new vehicle just to impress others and feel good as others.

House Jealousy

We may see our family and friends that live in a million dollar house. They have every bell and whistle that one can imagine in their house. The house looks like a magazine picture. The jealous feelings that we can develop can be very overwhelming to the point of where we can't stand to be near the house anymore. It can drive someone insane who feels that they will never be able to keep up with their rich family members or whoever in the world.

People often measure success by a persons net worth in the world. We are often judged by how much money is in the bank and our assets that we acquire in life. Many people go into debt to acquire all the nice things in life.
