How to Contact the Top Person in a Business

Rosa Hayes
One thing that I have found in businesses and especially big corporations is that it isn't always easy to get in touch with the right people. How do you get past all the lower authorities and reach the top person in a business? I plan to show you how and when to contact the top person in a business the right way without having all the trouble that you may be facing now.

When should I contact the top person in a business?

I found myself trying over and over again to distribute my ideas in the business that I worked for but I was only a worker and a nobody. I went to my supervisor only to find that she thought my ideas were great but never even mentioned them to her supervisor.

It is funny when you think about how your supervisor has a supervisor and how they probably have someone to answer too also. That is a lot of people that you must go through to get your voice heard. If you can't get your voice heard then what is the point in having a voice.

Maybe it isn't important but maybe it is so you need to contact the top person without having to go through all the nonsense of step laddering it up to the top of the chain by going through one person at a time and hoping that it makes it there.

If you have been struggling to get through to your boss so that your ideas or suggestions will be heard then maybe it is time to go straight to the head honcho.

How do I contact the top person in a business?

I have been asked this a lot and even started pondering over the idea when I started running into the same problems with the company that I had worked for. Companies are now giving cell phones to the top bosses and most of these bosses even have an email. The cell phones are only meant to be used for business and if they don't know your phone number they are less likely to answer it but there is a way around this.

Nearly every company has their own email for their business. Most of these businesses give out personal email addresses to their employees for use towards the business and to brand their name a little more since every time someone sends out an email it will probably have their business name attached to it.

I was asked a question a while back about how often I answer my emails. I thought for a moment and then started thinking about how many days a week that I don't answer my email. I am like most people when it comes to my email for my business or the business that I may be working for; I answer my email often.

Nearly everyone answers their email and most of them do this every time that they get on the computer and some do this more often than they do their phone. If you have something that is important, try sending out an email next time and see how quickly it gets responded to.

How do I get the email address of the top person in a business?

I had wondered this too so I went email hunting and this is what I found; most companies and businesses have a website somewhere on the web. If you can find the companies website then they will probably have a page set up for personnel and with it is usually an email address. This is the quickest way to find their email address or you can also look through your workers handbook to see if there is one listed in there.

Sometimes you just need to contact the right person and you don't have time to wait around. These tips have proven to work for me and many others like me.
