How to Cope with the Long Hours During High-Risk Pregnancy

luv2write
Many times a High-risk pregnancy can lead to weeks, or even months of bed rest. This seems like the worst-case scenario. There are plenty of ways to cope with the long hours.

1) Learn how to knit or crochet. You could even make a blanket or a pair of booties for your baby. This will keep your stress out emotionally.

2) Dive into a novel or some fun book that you have had your eye on.

3) Read up on all your baby or labor themed books. This will help you in relieving some stress and will help you in how to deal at that tough but the most beautiful moment of your life.

4) Watch a movie or TV show you have been wanting to check out- with entire seasons available on DVD. This is an easy way to find a new favorite.

5) Take your laptop to bed with you. Its a good way to get some work done if you need to and it's entertaining (hello, YouTube!) Besides watching movies, you can try your hand on learning new things or on how to build that great relationship with the new guest.

I really like the tip for learning how to knit or crochet. I wouldn't have thought of that one - and I had a high risk pregnancy. I got so tired of watching television, reading and even listening to the radio.
