How Could Anyone Not Love

Weighted Down with the Constellation Prize? Not

LarrWayne Po

A darling,

But not mine,

Cast her shout,

I am intrusted to thee.

.

I am sworn to protect

The innocent

Forever,

This darling,

I see.

.

Surely God

Is teaching her

That some

Can be trusted.

So there

Lies hope

For the emboldened to see.

.

I felt honor,

God entrusted

Her close to my arms.

.

Forever,

She will be safe,

I devote,

From nature's harms.

.

A smile is not painted

With colorful lips.

A smile is trusted shapes

Of the knowing:

There is heaven's gates.

.

LarrWayne, AKA Quack Jack of many trades. If the educated do not educate others, the long term pay back will be "We are surrounded by the uneducated and they want to rule over us". Politically incorrect poem...  View profile

This reminds me of the care given to foster children in the Royal Family Kids Camp program. Beautiful and caring piece.
