How to Make Creamy Fudgy Brownies

* 4 oz unsweetened choc
* 1/2 cup butter
* 1 cup flour
* 1/2 cup chopped nuts
* 1/4 tsp baking powder
* 1 1/2 cups sugar
* 3 eggs
* 1 tsp vanilla
  1. Grease and flour 8x8 pan. Set pan aside.

  2. Step 2

    In a small saucepan melt chocolate and butter. Remove from heat; set aside to cool slightly.

  3. Step 3

    In a medium bowl stir together flour, nuts, and baking powder. Set aside.

  4. Step 4

    In the saucepan mix the chocolate mixture with the sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Using a wooden spoon lightly beat mixture just till combined. Stir in flour mixture and spread into pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 min.

    To make the icing:Melt 3 oz chocolate over low heat, let cool slightly. Add 2 8 oz pkg of cream cheese, 1 egg, 1 Tbsp milk and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix till combined.

  6. Step 6

    Spread mixture over hot brownies and cook 10 minutes till set. Cool on wire rack. Cover and chill in fridge at least 2 hours before serving.

Tips:
  • When mixing the brownies don't mix them too much or they will rise while cooking and then fall after cooking. Always beat only till mixed.
  • Instead of making the cream cheese icing, I use Kraft cheesecake filling and then i let it chill in the fridge. I don't put it back in the oven if i use the cheesecake filling.
  • double the recipe if you are using a jelly roll pan
