How to Create a Berries and Branches Centerpiece for Your Wedding

If you are having a fall or winter wedding this would be a very pretty centerpiece to have for your reception tables. It is modern, yet dramatic looking and very easy on the budget, because there is not much too it. Your favorite part about this centerpiece will be that it is easy to make.

You probably will only want to use this centerpiece idea if you are using red, wine, or purple colors for your wedding. Unless you can find berries in a color that match your wedding colors. Follow these steps to create your berries and branches centerpieces.

GET ITEMS NEEDED:

First you will need three tall (10 to 20 inch) glass pedestal vases. These vases should have a square bottom and the actual cup part of the vase will only be about 4 or 5 inches deep. The pedestal part of the vases should be 6 to 8 inches tall, to get that dramatic and modern look.

Next, you will need some white marbles or stones, or you could even use white candies if you could like.

Finally, you will need to get your berries on their branches. These do not need to be very tall berries. They branch part only needs to be as deep as the cup part of your vase, 4 or 5 inches, then the berries will only stick out of the vase about 3 to 5 inches.

DESIGN YOUR BERRIES AND BRANCHES CENTERPIECES:

To start you can figure out how you want to set up your centerpieces. You could set them all in a row neatly or stager the vases a little. It is up to you. You could also use three different height vases for a more modern look.

Next, simply fill the vase cups up about 2 inches with the white marbles, stones, or candies that you are using. Fill each cup up to the same height, make them as even as possible. Lastly, all you need to do is stick one piece of branches berries into each vase.

This centerpiece is easy and can be switched up in many different ways to look modern and beautiful. You could use berries with a sparkle on them to make it look totally different. Be creative and enjoy!
