STYROFOAM: Get the styrofoam form for your wreath, you can purchase these at most craft or retail stores especially during the holidays. This will be your base for your new Christmas wreath that you can use for years to come.
DECORATIONS: Get some ribbon in either red or green. The ribbon should be two inches wide. You will need two or three spools of the ribbon to create your unique wreath. You will want to completely cover up the styrofoam with the ribbon so that none shows through. Get some Christmas bulbs. In either red or green. Get the opposite color of what you chose for the ribbon. For example, if you get red ribbon get green bulbs, you want them to stand out from one another and not blend together. Get a strand of Christmas lights for your wreath as well. Don't forget to get a couple bottles of super glue or craft glue.
MAKE YOUR UNIQUE WREATH: Starting in the middle of the wreath at it's highest point on the front start gluing a two inch section of ribbon to the wreath. Then you will bubble up a section of the ribbon. Make the bubble about two inches high and two inches long. So there will be a two inch gap bubbled up and then a two inch piece of ribbon glued down. Once you have a popped up your bubble of ribbon, then glue down another two inch section of the ribbon to the wreath again. Continue to repeat this process until you have gone all the way around the styrofoam wreath. Once you have finished one strand of ribbon all the way around the wreath, you will start a new strand. The next strand will be the opposite of the first strand. For example, where the ribbon is glued down it will be bubbled up on the next strand. Finish the entire wreath in this manner, making sure all of the styrofoam is covered.
Now where the ribbon is glued down to the styrofoam, you will glue down a bulb on top of it. So now the wreath will look like, a bubbled up piece of ribbon and then a bulb and then another piece of ribbon and so on. Continue, until all of the places where the ribbon is glued down are filled with bulbs.
Once you have finished with the ribbon and bulb process you can weave the strand of Christmas lights through the bubbled up pieces of ribbon. Simply weave it back and forth over the entire wreath.
When it is finished you can hang your beautiful, unique Christmas wreath anywhere or on a door where you can plug it in.
