In order to do this, you need to change some system files. This process would be very complex and take a lot of time. Moreover, changing system files would cause Windows to collapse if you do it the wrong way. Therefore, the best way is using software to do it for you. FileMenu Tools is a program that allows you to create the task you want. You can download the program here or here. FileMenu Tools is compatible with all versions of Windows. Its main function is to customize the context menu of Windows Explorer.
FileMenu Tools' has up to twenty-four default commands: "Run with Parameters", "Command Line From Here", "Copy to", "Move to", "Copy Path", "Copy Content", "Attributes", "Change Time", "Split File", "Join Parts", "Register DLL", "Unregister DLL", "Find and Replace", "Advanced Renamer", "Change Icon", "Advanced Delete", "Synchronize", "Configure FileMenu Tools", "Delete Locked File", "Delete and no Move to Recycle Bin", "Copy Name", "Create New Folder", "Paste Clipboard" and "Size of Folders". Its main appearance is divided into three different cells. At first, you have to mark the task you want to add. For example, mark "Copy Name" and "Copy Path". Then, click "Apply Changes" (the simple with green mark on the top left side). You can go back to check in Windows Explorer. Right click on any file; you can see the drop-down menu has two more tasks: "Copy Name" and "Copy Path".
FileMenu Tools also allows users to create their own comment with the list of default feature. In order to do this, click "Add Commands" below "Action" section. A new task will appear in the cell on the right side with the name "New Command". On the "Properties" section (on the left side), you can set different properties for your new command:
Action: you can choose to run an application, copy to a specific folder, move to a specific folder or delete a specific file.
Menu text: this is where you name your new task.
Description: you can describe your task here. When somebody moves the cursor into the task, the description will appear automatically.
Icon: find an suitable icon for your task.
Element Type: include Folders, Files and Extension. Mark "Yes" to a suitable mark to make the task available for folders, files and extensions. (If you choose "Yes" for extensions, type in * to apply the task to all files).
Program Properties: includes "Program", "Arguments" and "Working Folder".
After setting up everything for your new task, remember to click "Apply Changes" to save. You should also use "Move Up" and "Move Down" to arrange all the tasks. Remember to divide them into different categories with "Add Separator" or "Add SubMenu".
The newest version of FileMenu Tools is 5.2. Besides, you can go here to check if it has an update version.
