How to Create a Digital Baby Book Using Baby Album

It's amazing how things are going digital these days. You've got digital scrapbooking and now digital baby books. How cool is that. In this guide I am going to show you how to create a digital baby book using a program called Baby Album. I downloaded this program from downloads.com. Baby Album is just like a baby book. You have all of the charts that are in a baby book, places for your photos, special moments, health records, and much more. I will walk you through creating your first baby book using baby album.

Create a New Album

First, we will create a new album to work with. Go to the top of your window and click File > Create New Album. A dialog box will open and this is where you will create the new album. You will need to enter the information for your baby album in the fields. Then click the Next button.

The next part is where you will select the background and borders for your book pages. You can use your own background image if you can't find anything that you like in here. Click the Advance tab beside the background box. Then tick the Use Customized Image field. Then click the Browse button to locate the image that you want to use. Locate the image, click it and click the Open button.

Click the Back button to select your borders. If you want to use a solid color border or your own border, click the Advance button. In this window you can select the border that you want. Click the Next Step button to move on.

Select Standard for the formatting in the next step. Then click the Next Step button. The next step is creating the cover page. You can put your child's name, date of birth, and other things on the cover page. This is the first page that will be displayed. Fill out the fields in this part and click the OK button. Give it a minute to create your album.

You will be carried back to the main window once it finishes. On the left side of your window you will see the list of pages in your baby book. Click on a page to see that page. To edit that page go to the top of your window and click the Notepad and Pencil icon. Then fill out the page.
