Introduction to AVS Video Remaker

It is clear that the DVD menu is a more useful function of all commercial DVDs. It allows you to browse the contents of the DVD and find the point at which you want to watch the video without losing time. Currently this option is available for personal DVDs. Create the menu for your DVD using AVS Video Remakes and enjoy!

1. Download and install AVS Video Remaker

Go here to download it: http://www.avsmedia.com/videotools/videoremaker.aspx

Once downloaded, start the AVSVideoReMaker.exe file and follow the installation instructions.

2. Launch AVS Video Remakes and choose the input files

After launching the program, select your video using the Add File button. Then in the window find the folder with your movie.

As the Create DVD menu is only available for DVDs, you can select MPEG or DVD as input an file. If you want to create the DVD menu in another file type (AVI, WMV etc), you may use AVS Video Converter to convert it to DVD and create the menu for the resulting file.

ATTENTION! If you convert a DVD, follow: X: \ Video_TS \ VIDEO_TS.IFO file where "X" is your DVD-ROM drive or folder with the DVD files stored.

It is preferable to choose only the IFO file, which contains information on the structure of the DVD so you can avoid problems of synchronization sound / video. If you choose VOB files (files containing separate video SNEN) you must attach it later.

Be careful, if you choose several video files they must have the same settings - video resolution, aspect ratio, frame rate and bit rate.

If you choose this option, the number of chapters will correspond to the number of scenes detected. You can also create chapters at the specified interval (1,2,5,10,15,20 minutes) following Add>> Adding Chapters in the meantime.
